- Locations: Your Company / Your Site Interactive awareness sessions designed to help your team break the stigma, start conversations, recognise warning signs, and support colleagues who may be struggling. Practical, engaging, and relevant to every workplace. This practical and engaging workplace session is designed to help employees and managers build awareness, reduce stigma, recognise signs of distress, and confidently support colleagues and themselves. How to break the STIGMA and start a conversation with empathy. Recognising emotional, behavioural, and physical warning signs on depression, anxiety and burnout and understanding suicide risk and self-harm warning signs. The session combines real-world discussion, educational videos, interactive activities, and practical tools that participants can use immediately in the workplace.
- Learning Outcomes:
- Break the stigma and feel more confident starting conversations about mental health.
- Understand how toxic masculinity and societal expectations can affect men’s mental wellbeing.
- Recognise and understand common signs of mental health difficulties.
- Support and signpost colleagues to appropriate help and resources, using Mates In Mind & Samaritans Support Service.
- Interactive Activity :Small-group reflection on messages men receive about emotions, strength, and vulnerability. Sketching the Good Listener Lightbulb exercise
